Principal & Creative Director, Erin Shakoor possesses a unique ability to intuit the needs of a space; the results being harmonious interiors with strong visual impact. Her insatiable curiosity about the world around her is fueled by a background in fine art and surface design. Erin made the transition to interior design 20 years ago, with an eye for detail that allows her to approach every project, with a fresh new perspective.
Aptly named the “mix artist” by House Beautiful, the St. Louis native and graduate of KCAI, also holds a certificate in historic preservation from Northwestern University’s, Continuing Studies Program. Erin considers herself a life-long student, and in 2019 joined the Interior Design Business Academy. That organization, along with memberships in the Black Artists + Designers’ Guild [BADG] and the Design Trust LTD.,[DTL] have reignited and supported her growth as a multidisciplinary creative and entrepreneur.
