Christina Nielsen is an emerging residential and commercial interior designer, based in New York City and London. Her designs blend clean, minimalist lines, reminiscent of the Scandinavian style, with the panache of English, French, and Moorish furniture. Nielsen has a natural design instinct and fearlessly mixes and matches textures, patterns, and furniture to produce unique interiors that delight. Nielsen’s firm, Christina Nielsen Design, took flight following its much-lauded design of a private box at England’s famed Royal Ascot. Her talents have since caught the eye of Plain English, for which she designed a bespoke kitchen with the brand’s signature London showroom, to be unveiled Summer 2020. Nielsen has been selected to design a tablescape for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Gala 2020. She has also been selected for this year’s prestigious Hampton Designer Showhouse, alongside several other residential projects both in the US and Europe. Nielsen previously worked for Vogue magazine, and received a Master’s Degree from the selective Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
